The sea is at the heart of the cultural and tourist tradition in the
"Albâtre" Coast.
Cliffs, shingle or finesand beaches at low tide, wealth fauna on the
foreshore, the coastal landscape conceals treasures.
Water activities for some of you, idleness for others. The coastal landscape,
with multiple scapes and animations, will enjoy children and adults,
sportspeople, sailors and seaside amateurs. A territory that is keeping honking...
The amateurs of History and Architecture will surely admire the cultural
and historical heritage in the "Albâtre" Coast: Middle
Ages churches, Water mills, Half-timbered houses, facades decorated
with tuffeau stone and also region products. Each village has its own
history and will testify how Industry and Agriculture were developed
around the fishing ports, the rivers, the valleys.
The "Vallée de la Durdent", a valley that was protected.
Along the "Bassin de la Durdent", which relies the heart of

ETRETAT : Surrounded by the impressive cliffs of Europe, Détretat beach is part of one of the most beautiful pebble beach in France, sit facing the sea listen to the rolling waves on the pebbles and make the sound of the seagulls sing, watching on your right the cliff and the upstream gate with a little imagination you will seem to see an elephant dipping its trunk in the sea, in summer the beach is quickly taken by storm by vacationers of all nationalities, a floating diving board is a delight for children and older children, while parents are resting, but Détretat beach is also appreciated in heavy weather for its spectacle, sit on the terrace to observe the work of the sea in nature, you will leave to be pumped up.
